Job summary

Bolton Hyundai is seeking a Lot Attendant to join our team in Bolton, Ontario. The role involves checking in new arrivals, cleaning showroom vehicles, and assisting the sales team with inventory, pre-delivery inspections, fueling, tire and battery checks, and licensing tasks with the MTO.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of lot experience, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Project a positive attitude for the benefit of customers and employees.
• Ensure all work is thorough, accurate, and completed on time.
• Check-in new vehicles upon arrival.
• Clean and maintain vehicles in the showroom daily.
• Support sales with organizing inventory and pre-delivery inspections, fueling, tire/battery checks, and MTO licensing tasks.
• Handle drop-off and pickup of licensing documents from local MTO.
• Move vehicles to maintain customer parking areas.
• Dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the company.
• Assist in routine building maintenance as required.
• Operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Work with minimal supervision and adhere to safety standards.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

• Provide support to the sales department with organizing inventory, processing pre-delivery inspections, filling vehicles with gas, checking tire pressure and battery and take licensing to the Ministry of Transportation office.

• Move vehicles as required, in order to maintain customer parking areas.
• Dispose of garbage, recycling, etc., throughout the company, as required.
• Perform and assist in routine building maintenance as required.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles.
• Ability to execute tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
• Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
• Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of lot attendant experience is preferred.
• Must be team oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Will be required to lift up to 50 kg occasionally.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule.

Job Type:

Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected hourly wage):

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
