The role partners with store and security management to maintain safety, reduce loss, and ensure security operations meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate security team members, maintaining protection standards and promoting security awareness and safety.
• Partner with Operations and Security Management to identify shrink reduction opportunities and optimize security schedules.
• Support emergency preparedness and incident management, serving as a point person during emergencies.
• Ensure security systems and equipment are maintained, and coordinate repairs and vulnerability evaluations.
• Coach security staff to provide professional, gracious client service and collaborate with store management on client experience initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid security license and high school diploma.
• One to two years of experience in a security-related position, preferably in a retail environment with an emphasis on customer service.
• Strong communication, computer, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity.
• Ability to work retail hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to respond promptly to problems.
• Authorization to work in Canada or the country where the position is based.
