Job summary

Walmart Canada in Mission, BC is looking for an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe, secure store environment and protect people, merchandise, and the shopping experience.

You will conduct daily patrols, verify doors and security features, investigate shrink, support emergency procedures, and assist with external apprehensions as required while reporting findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Store Security and Loss Prevention: Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigations and Case Support: Investigates incidents of financial and physical shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Emergency Response and Store Support: Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents such as fire or other emergencies.
• Enforcement and External Apprehensions: Carries out external apprehensions when required, in compliance with Company policies and legal standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources, clearly explaining issues and findings to leadership and other stakeholders while presenting relevant perspectives.
• Additional Duties: Completes additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs and Asset Protection priorities.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
