Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Associate in Mississauga to help maintain a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates, visitors and vendors. You will patrol the store to ensure safety, support investigations, and assist in emergency responses, while enforcing company policies and reporting to leadership.

The role requires adaptability to varied shifts, strong teamwork, and a commitment to reducing shrink and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily store patrols to maintain safety and security.
• Investigates shrink and reports findings to Store Leadership.
• Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Carries out external apprehensions per policy.
• Gathers and communicates information to leadership.
• Performs other duties to support asset protection.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Manages overnight hours and stays energized.
• Performs physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment at Walmart Canada.
