Job summary

Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Hilltop House Long Term Care in Squamish, BC. You will provide comprehensive care to older residents, coordinate interventions, and work within an interdisciplinary team to support resident-centered outcomes.

Practice under BCCNM standards, contribute to quality care, and participate in committees as assigned. Emphasis on family engagement and ongoing learning within a supportive LTC setting.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Completion of an approved gerontology course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to predominantly older residents in Long Term Care.
• Coordinate clinical interventions and evaluate resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident-centered care.
• Support RCA’s and LPNs to promote cohesive teamwork.
• Engage in family/resident discussions about goals of care and document decisions.
