Job summary

Seven Horses Transport Ltd. is seeking a driver to join our Surrey, BC team. This entry-level role offers on-site work with full training provided to new drivers, focusing on safe loading, unloading, and operation of straight or articulated trucks.

The position requires a valid Class 1 or A license, high school completion, and a proactive attitude toward safety and vehicle maintenance. You will work with dispatch to coordinate travel and cargo handling at our facility.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• On-site work only; location is physical Surrey facility.
• Must hold a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).

Responsibilities

• Arrange travel itineraries and reservations.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition; inspect tires, lights, brakes, storage equipment.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections; manage vehicle aspects.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of goods.
