Dangremond Transport Inc. is seeking a long-haul truck driver to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks across North America. The role requires handling cargo, load/unload duties, and maintaining safety and compliance during trips.

Candidates should hold a Class 1 license with required endorsements and be willing to travel cross-border. Remote locations and relocation may be involved, with travel expenses covered by the employer.

Qualificações

Must hold Class 1/1F/A licence with semi trailer endorsement.
Air Brakes Endorsement is required.
Willing to travel cross-border.
Long-haul trucking experience preferred.
Ability to load/unload and tarp cargo.

Responsabilidades

Address customers' complaints or concerns
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Load and unload goods
Tarp cargo and ensure safety of cargo

Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
Mountain driving expertise
Professionalism in customer service
Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
Load and unload goods
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
