This is a full-time, entry-level position in the freight and package transportation industry, based in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring cargo safety and security, including tarping and handling dangerous goods.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections; oversee vehicle condition and perform maintenance as needed.
• Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and relay information to dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ class license.
• Knowledge of documentation such as bills of lading, driver logbooks, and accident reports.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Conditions
