Overview

Homeland Moving is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team in Richmond, BC. This role is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in logistics, including scheduling, dispatching, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, and resolve work-related problems.
  • Monitor the movement of goods and ensure shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics operations.
  • Maintain and track records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse transactions.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend operational improvements and cost-saving strategies.
  • Prepare and submit performance and incident reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Completion of a post‑secondary diploma or degree in business administration, office management, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations role.
  • Experience in the moving or transportation industry is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
