XTL Logistics Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner at our Balzac Terminal to join a dedicated team. The role focuses on building strong carrier relationships, ensuring shipments are executed as scheduled, and maintaining real-time order accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary education, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. This position offers a competitive salary and company benefits after a probation period.

Responsabilités

• Grow & develop strong carrier relationships.
• Monitor and provide feedback on carrier performance to the Carrier Logistic Planner.
• Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are executed as scheduled.
• Trace status of shipments and provide information back to Shipper Logistics Planner as needed.
• Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortage claims on shipments.
• All orders accounted for in real time.
• In-transit issues communicated in real time.
• Complete TMS shipment updates.
• Conduct EDI audits.
• Update / Reconcile yard checks.
• Book Lumpers.
• Track, report and bill accessorial charges.
• Perform all responsibilities aligned with corporate objectives and LEAD WITH GRACE.
• Ensure data integrity when managing and completing orders.
• Verify carrier data before completing orders.
• Support and replace other team members as needed.

XTL Logistics Inc. is looking for a Logistics Planner at our Balzac Terminal to become a part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is self-motivated, has strong analytical and computer skills, strong attention to detail and is enthusiastic to work in a customer-centric environment.

Carrier Relations

• - Grow & develop strong carrier relationships
• - Monitor and provide feedback on carrier overall performance to the Carrier Logistic Planner
• - Proactive communication with carriers to ensure shipments are being executed as scheduled
• - Trace status of shipments and provide information back to Shipper Logistics Planner as needed
• - Handle initial information on loss/damage and shortage claims on shipments.
• - All orders accounted for in real time

• - Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and take on additional tasks
• - A good knowledge of North American geography is an asset
• - Post-secondary education is required
• - Working knowledge of Revenova is preferred
• - Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• - Able to work in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision
