Job summary

National Logistics Services (NLS) is seeking an Operation Supervisor to lead a department and ensure SOPs are followed and KPIs met. The role reports to the General Manager and supports client service standards in a busy logistics facility in Canada.

You will coach staff, manage attendance, handle resource planning, and work with Customer Service, Transportation, and Inventory Management to resolve issues. A 3–5 year supervisory background and strong MS Office/WMS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong computer skills, MS Office.
• Experience in a 3rd party logistics environment.
• Knowledgeable using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department and ensure SOPs and KPIs are met.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, and HR inquiries.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, and Inventory Management.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Health & Safety policies.
• Allocate resources and schedule shifts.
