Job summary

LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services in Canada is seeking a Logistics Lead to support day-to-day logistics operations with field and administrative duties. You will partner closely with Supervisors, Dispatch, Couriers, and cross-functional teams to drive service excellence.

The role emphasizes ride-alongs, route optimization, workforce planning, audits, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent courier operations experience.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s license (or equivalent).
• Experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
• Ability to travel between operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ride-alongs with Logistics Couriers to observe practices and identify improvements.
• Complete route reviews and optimization activities to support efficiency and service delivery.
• Support workforce planning including scheduling and coverage planning.
• Assist with implementing new processes and service enhancements.
• Communicate operational observations to the Logistics Supervisor.
