Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an RCC Manager to oversee all financial aspects of transportation operations, reporting to the Director of Transportation. You will drive cost control, manage relationships with carriers, and lead a finance-focused team to ensure accurate payments and reporting across Freight Distribution clients.

The role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration with onsite operations, and a track record of coaching teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, finance, or related field, with supervisory experience.
• Experience with transportation payables, accruals, carrier payments, and financial reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, with experience managing high transaction volumes and emails.
• Experience collaborating with onsite operations and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven track record in leading, coaching, and developing a team.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate on accounts payable/receivable with customers.

The RCC Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of transportation operations, ensuring accuracy in payments, accruals, and overall financial performance. Reporting to the Director of Transportation, this role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity, collaborating with operational personnel and carriers, and supporting the broader transportation management team in cost control and financial decision-making. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
