Job: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR – Import/Export

Overview

We are seeking a passionate Import-Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Chambly. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth flow of goods, manage supplier relationships, and guarantee customs compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the organization and supervision of international shipments and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations
  • Coordinate operations with freight forwarders
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and evaluate transportation and customs costs
  • Track deliveries and determine optimal transportation methods
  • Identify, negotiate, and monitor contracts with suppliers
Qualifications
  • Solid experience in import/export
  • Experience in supply management and purchasing (asset)
  • Bilingual in French and English is a significant asset
  • Knowledge of HS Codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Resourceful, autonomous, proactive with strong organizational and negotiation skills
