Summary

Certarus is actively hiring experienced Logistics Coordinators to join the centralized dispatch team in a fast-paced, high-tech, team-oriented environment with abundant growth opportunities.

This role involves 24/7 dispatching across all terminals in Canada and the USA, managed by a team of Logistics Coordinators assigned to specific territories. The responsibilities include identifying, planning, and coordinating gas deliveries and ancillary support equipment, supporting the growth of North America’s largest CNG solutions provider.

This position is based out of the Calgary corporate office.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts on a rotation 5/4 schedule (e.g., 5 day shifts, 4 days off, 5 night shifts, 5 days off, etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate across all levels of the organization as part of Certarus’ high-performing logistics team
• Monitor customer gas consumption using SCADA and dispatch loads to replenish inventory based on consumption rates and on-site gas volumes
• Make informed decisions using technology platforms such as SCADA, fleet GPS (Samsara), electronic logbooks, and other management software
• Act quickly and accurately on information from multiple sources
• Plan and dispatch gas deliveries efficiently within the assigned territory
• Optimize transportation efficiency through proactive, cost-effective planning
• Approve internal and third-party trucking tickets accurately
• Serve as the primary contact for drivers and field operations, building respectful and productive relationships

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or related transferable skills
• Previous experience in oilfield or transportation dispatching
• Advanced computer skills, including experience with SCADA, Samsara, MS Excel, and other fleet management systems
• Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize, plan effectively, and make sound decisions under stress
• Proactive, self-motivated individuals capable of working independently and accountable for results
