Job summary

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking a qualified candidate to manage accounts payable tasks, verify invoice authorizations, and process payments in a timely manner. You will assist with spend analysis by vendor, create purchase orders, and reconcile payments while maintaining accurate account codes and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Recently completed college diploma/degree in a business, operations, administration or supply chain
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication and ability to follow up
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Quick learner with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Previous experience coordinating vendor activities, manage site access and scheduling requirements, and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams to coordinate priorities, complete tasks, and achieve shared goals

Responsibilities

  • Ensure invoices have correct authorization, and process them within a timely manner
  • Assist the team with analyzing spend per vendor, create purchase orders, and reconcile payments
  • Account codes, and supporting documents before entering data into system
  • Dealing with vendor queries with regards to outstanding payments, setting up new authorized vendors under the Labatt system
  • Creating and executing preventative maintenance programs, according to the manufacturer's specifications, and monitoring equipment and repairs
  • Managing spare parts and equipment inventories and third-party service contractors
  • Key point of contact for all outside contractors, must be the main liaison with regards to any site maintenance by 3rd party vendors, must ensure that all documentation is filed and stored away with regards to any contractors
  • Proactively improving maintenance processes and standards as appropriate
  • Support logistics team with admin duties
  • Generating reports, requesting purchase orders
  • Special projects & responsibilities as required
  • General administrative duties
  • Support continuous improvement and maintenance excellence initiatives across transport and warehouse operations

SALARY RANGE:

$65,600 - $77,900 + Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.
