Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inventory and orders across stores and operational channels.
  • Assist with shipment preparation, workload planning, and transfer orders.
  • Monitor orders, deliveries, shortages, and logistics issues with internal teams.
  • Support store operations and cross-functional projects as needed.

Position Description

Reporting to the Warehouse/Distribution Manager and/or designated management, the Logistics Coordinator will support the coordination of inventory, orders, product movement, distribution, and other day-to-day logistics activities.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is organized, proactive, adaptable, and interested in developing a long‑term career in logistics and operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Distribution Centre, store teams, and management to help ensure products, inventory, and operational needs are effectively coordinated.

The successful candidate will also be required to work in store operations to develop a stronger understanding of the business, products, procedures, and store‑level operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Order Coordination
  • Review and coordinate incoming store and other operational orders.
  • Assist with daily workload planning based on order priorities, delivery requirements, and business needs.
  • Support the coordination and preparation of shipments.
  • Review order deadlines and priorities to help ensure products are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Generate and process transfer orders in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate product movement and shipments to support efficient transportation and freight utilization.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding orders, delivery issues, shortages, and other logistics concerns.
  • Communicate with internal teams, warehouses, stores, and other stakeholders regarding orders, inventory, deliveries, and logistics requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities.
Inventory & Distribution Support
  • Support inventory control and monitor stock availability.
  • Assist with inventory counts, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Generate replenishment lists and work closely with the Warehouse/Distribution Manager to support timely inventory replenishment.
  • Review inventory levels and identify potential shortages or operational concerns.
  • Assist with product movement, returns, transfers, and other distribution activities.
  • Review store and regional requirements to support effective inventory planning and distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to inventory and distribution activities.
  • Support the development and improvement of inventory tracking and supply chain processes.
Store & Operational Support
  • Work closely with store teams and management to understand inventory requirements and operational needs.
  • Provide support with store‑related logistics, inventory, product transfer, and distribution matters as required.
  • Work in or support store operations from time to time to gain firsthand knowledge of company procedures, products, and operational processes.
  • Communicate operational concerns and recurring issues to the appropriate management team.
  • Support cross‑functional projects and initiatives as required.
Process Improvement & Special Projects
  • Work closely with the Warehouse/Distribution Manager and other teams to identify opportunities to improve logistics and operational efficiency.
  • Provide ideas and recommendations to improve supply chain, inventory, distribution, and operational workflows.
  • Support the implementation of new processes and operational initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, distribution, warehouse operations, inventory management, retail operations, or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced or high‑volume environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, warehouse systems, ERP systems, or order management systems is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are considered an asset.
  • Must have a valid G Class driver's licence and reliable transportation.

This position will begin at:

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

After approximately 6 months, employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, business knowledge, and readiness for increased responsibilities may be considered for a transition into a salaried position or another logistics or operations‑related opportunity.

Any transition will be based on individual performance, demonstrated capability, available opportunities, and business needs.
