Traffic Tech, based in Hamilton, is seeking a Logistics Booking Agent to coordinate and execute over-the-road freight across North America. You will build vendor and carrier relationships, manage dispatching, and negotiate market-based rates while ensuring timely documentation and delivery.

Your Part in it:

Working out of our Hamilton, ON office, we are looking for a driven individual to liaison with key stakeholder groups. In this role you will be responsible for making sure the movement of over-the-road (OTR) freight across North America is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers’ needs. We teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology. LOGISTICS BOOKING AGENT

What the Job Entails:

• Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and motor carriers
• Booking operations (Dispatching, updating and problem solving)
• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers depending on current market rates
• Gathering proof of deliveries and any other required shipping documentation needed to close out loads
• Effective and professional communication with carriers and within the business group

• Able to organize heavy volume of emails, email organization, sub folders, outlook follow up, a savvy outlook user.

This is a full-time permanent position from Monday to Friday

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
