Job summary

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services, seeks a Logistics Associate, Day in Mississauga. You will perform order picking and packing, process orders and provide logistics support as part of a busy warehouse team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of logistics and reach truck experience, forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, and the ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years logistics experience.
• 3 years reach lift fork truck experience.
• Fork truck certification or ability to be certified.
• Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
• No immigration sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick full-case orders and stack onto pallets using a scanner/tablet.
• Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move pallets.
• Verify quantities, item quality and labeling before shipment.
• Examine packaging against packing list and SAP.
• Coordinate with customer service, production, instant and small pack.
• Shipping box assembly and induction for packing.
• Shipping label preparation and application.
• Trailer loading of packed boxes and pallets.
• Identify discrepancies and report to Supervisor/Lead.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness of the picking area.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies.
