Job summary

Safety Express Ltd. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join the Operations Team in Mississauga. The role focuses on receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping products while maintaining accuracy and safety across daily warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities include inventory control, order picking/packing, and coordinating with carriers for shipments. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of abatement/restoration or related industries is an asset.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect shipments, verify contents against orders, and update inventory records.
• Stock and organize inventory to maximize space and maintain labeling accuracy.
• Pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Prepare shipments and coordinate with carriers for timely delivery.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks per safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety, reporting hazards to supervisors.
• Document warehouse activities and maintain detailed records.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to keep operations flowing smoothly.
• Other duties as assigned, including delivery driving and related testing.
