The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) in Prince Albert is seeking a multi-talented individual with a strong financial and administrative background to fill the position of Logistics Administrator.
As the Logistics Administrator, reporting to the Finance Team Leader for Logistics and Support Services, you will provide financial and administrative support to all of the Logistics and Support Services Branch. You will be responsible for contract administration, procurement of goods, uniform program administration, resource requests, maintenance of the agency's inventory system, generating reports, financial support, routine office administration and other assigned duties.
An understanding of financial management principles will be required to ensure proper accounting procedures are applied while performing assigned duties. You will also have knowledge and familiarity of word processing, email and spreadsheet software in order to enter, format, create reports, communicate, and manipulate and retrieve data.
This position requires knowledge of general contract and office administration techniques and principles. Also, you must be able to work in an ever-changing and dynamic environment. SPSA's focus is to respond to any critical incident and so being able to change strides accordingly will be an asset.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would beacquired through the completion of a two-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or Accounting supplemented by relevant experience.
The ability to travel throughout the province and work flexible hours is a requirement of this position.
