Job summary

RA is seeking a Shipper Receiver in Vancouver to handle the orderly intake and distribution of orders. You will prepare orders, build pallets, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the workspace. The role requires the ability to lift 40–50 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally, with adherence to HSQA standards.

Applicants should have prior shipping/receiving experience and a valid Serving It Right certification, plus strong teamwork and communication skills to perform under pressure.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $20. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. As a Shipper Receiver, you will:

Picking up and dropping off of incoming orders and delivering unit orders on a regular basis

• Receives and prepares orders in an accurate, efficient and productive manner and assemble into organized skids that meet Airport Authority standards
• Observes, reports and corrects (when appropriate) all unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause employee accidents.
• Adhere to all HSQA standards
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Performs all related requests, tasks and processes as required from Supervisor/Manager
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push and lift up to and including 40-50lbs frequently and 60lbs occasionally.
• Adhere to all HSQA polices
• Considerable skill in efficiently lifting, stacking and building quality pallets.
• Skill in operating warehouse equipment ie. Pallet jack certification
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines on a regular basis.
• Duties as assigned by managers/supervisors based on operational needs
• You may also be asked, on occasion to assist in other lounges should the need arise.
