Job summary

Compass-Group in Richmond, BC is seeking a Shipper Receiver to handle order pickup/drop-off and unit deliveries, with an hourly wage of $20. Final pay is based on skills, experience, and equity considerations.

Canadian work experience is not required, and AI-based screening may be used during recruitment. You will follow HSQA standards, maintain an organized work area, lift up to 40-50 lbs frequently and 60 lbs occasionally, and help build pallets.

Qualifications

The hourly wage rate for this position is $20. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. As a Shipper Receiver, you will:

Picking up and dropping off of incoming orders and delivering unit orders on a regular basis

• Receives and prepares orders in an accurate, efficient and productive manner and assemble into organized skids that meet Airport Authority standards
• Observes, reports and corrects (when appropriate) all unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause employee accidents.
• Adhere to all HSQA standards
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Performs all related requests, tasks and processes as required from Supervisor/Manager
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push and lift up to and including 40-50lbs frequently and 60lbs occasionally.
• Adhere to all HSQA polices
• Considerable skill in efficiently lifting, stacking and building quality pallets.
• Skill in operating warehouse equipment ie. Pallet jack certification
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines on a regular basis.
• Duties as assigned by managers/supervisors based on operational needs
• You may also be asked, on occasion to assist in other lounges should the need arise.
