Lodging Coordinator, Christina Lake, Conklin, AB (Contract Role)

Reporting to the Lodging & Logistics Lead, the successful candidate will coordinate operations of all MEG Energy camps and site janitorial services. The Lodging Coordinator ensures Lodging operates according to MEG Energy’s Policies and Procedures, maintaining efficiency, service quality, and safety standards. The role involves continuous operational improvements and fostering a strong safety culture.

  • Please note, this is a 12-month contract position with compensation as a straight hourly rate.
Your Day-to-day Will Include
  • Championing strategic Lodging operational initiatives
  • Overseeing daily operations of contractor Lodging and Site Janitorial teams
  • Reporting and managing operational statistics including room/food requirements, safety, maintenance, and other indicators
  • Enforcing standards of excellence in operations, cleanliness, and food quality
  • Conducting regular camp and site inspections and audits
  • Assisting the Logistics Coordinator with flight check-ins and other duties
  • Supporting social activities when required
  • Handling communication forms and maintenance requests
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ensuring compliance with MEG standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Participating in strategic operational initiatives
  • Monitoring and improving processes for compliance and safety
  • Liaising with EH&S and Security on safety and incident matters
What You Will Bring To MEG
  • 3-5 years of camp operations experience with leadership skills
  • Knowledge of OH&S, AHS, and relevant regulations
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Effective judgment and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Facilitation skills for team alignment
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Orissa and CIRYS is an asset
  • Certifications: Food Safe Level 1, H2S Alive
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada
