Job summary

Simplot Canada (II) Limited in Saskatchewan seeks a Location Operations Manager to lead the location team and drive safety, efficiency, and profitability.

You will supervise operations and admin staff, manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and reporting to the Market Manager, while coordinating with sales and agronomy services.

This role requires 5+ years in agriculture, a passion for farming, and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment; travel and hands-on oversight are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Agriculture/Agronomy preferred.
• Experience in sales is an asset.
• A passion for agriculture and helping farmers succeed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations of location including office, equipment and warehouse maintenance.
• Develop annual location budgets for operations, maintenance, equipment in conjunction with the Market Manager.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable for the location.
• Participate in the development of annual sales budget and forecasting for the location.
• Coordinate custom application and equipment – including getting field maps in order, loading product, scheduling equipment operators.
• Oversee and manage ordering of product and ensure it is recorded into the system.
• Oversee the management of product inventory.
• Lead and direct location operations and admin team members.
• Maintain and ensure OH&S standards and a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
