Job summary

Loblaw Agency is seeking a diligent co-op student for the Winter 2027 Work Term in Canada. The role focuses on assisting the Production Studio with studio coordination, project tracking, triage and reporting as well as developing the Brands Standards document.

You will support design, editorial and production to finalize Brand Standards, manage daily tasks, handle data entry, response to inquiries, and contribute to archival projects while operating in a hybrid model with some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal & written).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Production Studio tasks including project tracking and reporting.
  • Develop, coordinate and circulate the Brands Standards document and Workflow.
  • Prepare correspondence, data entry and document creation.
  • Provide vendor and internal inquiries customer service support.
  • Assist with archival / filing projects following prescribed rules.
  • Conduct research, input data and perform analysis.
  • Plan, organize and manage daily tasks.
  • Support Studio Management with ongoing workflow, reporting and triage.
  • Support Design, Editorial and Production to finalize Brand Standards.
  • Handle ad hoc requests as required.

Winter 2027 Work Term

Term Length: 4 months

Term Start: January 6, 2027

Term End: April 16, 2027

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Loblaw Agency has an opportunity for a professional, dedicated, responsible and enthusiastic individual to assist our Packaging Design Studio with various administrative tasks.

Role Mandate

To assist the Production Studio with studio coordination including project tracking, triage, and reporting. Development, coordination, and execution of the Brands Standards document and Workflow circulation tool.

Accountabilities
  • Prepare and organize correspondence, perform data entry and word-processing functions, and create a variety of documents
  • Provide customer service assistance by responding to vendor and/or internal inquiries
  • Assist with small or large scale archival / filing projects while adhering to a prescribed set of rules for storing or destroying files
  • Conduct research, perform analysis and input data.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate and manage daily assigned work tasks
  • Support Studio Management with ongoing studio workflow, reporting, triage and project tracking week over week.
  • Support Design, Editorial and Production to finalize the Brand Standards
  • Other ad hoc requests as required/assigned
Role Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Verbal & Written)
  • Superior knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with all types of packaging and print types
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Team player, one who is both collaborative with peers and management, and displays initiative to ensure projects stay on track
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and detail oriented
  • Efficient and able to multi-task well
