Job summary

A landscaping services company is seeking Loader/tractor Drivers to operate snowplows and clear ice from residential and commercial properties. Job Summary

Mr. Lawnmower snow plow truck drivers are responsible for clearing and de-icing parking lots, driveways, walkways, steps, and sidewalks all over the GTA. We currently service premier Commercial, Industrial and Institutional properties throughout the GTA. You will be assigned a truck equipped with a snowplow and salt spreader to carry out service when required. Drivers are expected to be available 24Hrs/Day 7 Days/week at any time snow or ice event occurs from November 15th, 2025 - April 31st 2026. Drivers are also responsible for having a phone with data to track all service visits with our app.

As a snow plow operator, you are responsible for safely operating your equipment while performing the delivery of services. Our clients trust us to provide quality services and you are key in helping us live out our values every day.

Duties
  • Respond Promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
  • Clear snow from customers sites and designated areas (marked on site maps).
  • Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner following all recommended procedures.
  • Operate equipment as assigned.
  • Hand shovel/De-Ice site areas as required.
  • Submit paperwork electronically at the end of every shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to operate snowplows and snow equipment (eg LOADERS/AG TRACTORS).
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Team player and great character/positive attitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps.
  • Excellent observation skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to perform physical labor and operate light equipment.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to meet deadlines, problem solve and work well under pressure.
  • Horticultural technician/apprenticeship certification is an asset.
  • High attention to details.
