Job summary

RB Global, Inc. in Amaranth, Ontario, is seeking a part-time Loader Operator I to operate heavy equipment and trucks, assist in yard setup for auctions, and help customers with loading purchases.

You will support safety commitments and collaborate with yard staff, learn vehicle check-in tasks as needed, and perform duties as assigned to keep auctions running smoothly. Strong teamwork, reliable English communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced yard environment are

Qualifications

• Able to operate a large forklift (36,000 lbs) is an asset.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Good computer skills and quick learner of new programs.
• Proven track record of working safely and promoting safety.
• Strong customer and team interaction skills.
• Willingness to work in a team yet self-start and work independently.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• A high level of attention to detail.

The Part-Time Loader Operator I is responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks, setting up equipment for auction in yards and helping customers during and after auctions.

• Responsible for operating all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
• Accountable for helping to set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
• Help customers load their equipment purchases, and answer their questions related to the yard.
• Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
• Learn and assist on vehicle check in tasks as needed.
• Supports and assists with Yard Staff responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.
