Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in Canada seeks a Loader Operator with three+ years of experience to load trucks, operate loaders and attachments, and work at gravel pits, asphalt plants or construction sites.

You will follow safety policies, perform basic preventive maintenance, and keep equipment fed to capacity while communicating clearly with supervisors, co‑workers and the public.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years’ experience operating loaders in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with aggregates and the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong awareness of surroundings and ability to work safely.
• Self‑motivated with good organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate courteously, professionally, and promptly with supervisors, co‑workers, contractors, and the public.
• Team‑player mentality.
