Job summary

AIM Recycling is seeking a Loader Operator for its Montreal-East site to support our recycling operations outdoors in an industrial setting. You will load, move, and feed materials while ensuring safety and accuracy in material handling and reporting.

You will operate loaders, inspect equipment, and collaborate with teams across departments to maintain an efficient production flow and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• A DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1–3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• A valid heavy equipment operator certification.
• A valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Committed to health and safety.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate the loader safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout different areas of the site.
• Feed the production line and different departments as needed.
• Weigh incoming and outgoing materials and complete the required reports.
• Inspect the equipment before and after each shift.
• Ensure the proper operation of the equipment and report any issues to your supervisor.
• Report any material irregularities or non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Keep your work area clean and safe.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our team in Montreal-East.

As a Loader Operator, you will be directly involved in our recycling operations by loading, moving, and handling materials using a loader. You will primarily work outdoors in an industrial environment where safety, awareness, and precision are essential.
