Job summary

Realstar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to live on-site at one of its properties in Canada. This role requires living on-site and working four weekdays each week, every second weekend, and being on-call some evenings.

The position is an existing vacancy within the organization. Base compensation is CAD 40,000, including an apartment suite as a taxable benefit, with employer-paid benefits, quarterly and annual bonuses, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in residential property management or related business experience (skilled-trade, handyperson).
• Excellent communication skills to deal with residents, prospects, colleagues and trades.
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and aptitude for mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated cleaning skills.
• Ability to drive small vehicles, tractors, etc.
• Lift and push heavy objects 50-100lbs, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances or snow removal duties.
