Job summary

Earth Angels Home Care in Antigonish, NS seeks Live-In Caregivers to support seniors at home on a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation. Provide dignified personal care, meal prep, medication monitoring, and companionship.

You will live in the client's home, sleep in a designated room, be available for emergencies, and promote independence and well-being, using Teepa Snow dementia care techniques when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on caregiving, preferably live-in or dementia care.
• Compassionate and reliable with a focus on client dignity.
• Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Driver's license preferred; car optional.
• Willing to learn and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care and promote independence.
• Apply Teepa Snow dementia care techniques when needed.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate presence in the client’s home.
• Observe changes and report to office to adjust care plans.
• Offer companionship, support families, and ensure client well-being.
