Job summary

Kingsley Management Inc. is hiring a Live-in Building Manager for the Kitchener/Waterloo area. This full-time role suits someone who stays active and engaged, managing maintenance, tenant relations, and daily operations on-site.

You will clean and maintain common areas, prepare suites, show units to prospective tenants, collect rents, and coordinate with contractors. The position includes on-call duties and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Cleaning/Maintenance

• Ensure cleanliness of common areas, corridors, stairwells and elevators
• Prepare suites for new residents
• Perform minor maintenance throughout the building
• Coordinate with contractors for additional maintenance projects
• Grounds maintenance including: salting sidewalks and minor snow removal on walkways

Tenant Relations/Administrative

• Address tenant concerns promptly and effectively
• Maintain positive relations with tenants
• Show suites to prospective tenants
• Collect and record incoming rents
• Assist with move-in and move-out process
• Maintain building logs

General

• Follow an "on-call" schedule
• Stock control and inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned by Property Manager

• Proven experience completing regular maintenance

• Capable of moving large garbage bins and handling waste disposal tasks
