Job summary

Ticketmaster Canada seeks Box Office Supervisors to support operations in Toronto. You will assist the Box Office Manager with staffing, scheduling and training, and supervise local box offices to ensure smooth ticketing and strong customer service.

The role requires good communication, cash handling and ticketing knowledge, plus flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays. You’ll balance cash, resolve customer issues and coordinate with Operations Support for events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years in a sales or customer service oriented role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Go-getter with the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • General office and cash experience are preferred.
  • Basic foundation and understanding of event ticketing.
  • Experience dealing with customer service escalations.
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities.
  • Knowledge of or familiarity working with a POS system.
  • Must be available weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Box Office Manager with recruiting, scheduling and training of staff.
  • Assist with implementation of Box Office policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and run local box offices as needed by the Box Office Manager.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive approach to ticketing activities and customer service.
  • Cash control, balancing and related administrative functions.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Deal with and resolve customer service issues related to Box Office operations.
  • Ticket processing and in-person ticket sales.
  • Process in-house ticketing requests.
  • Work with Operations Support teams on local box office events.
