A legal firm based in Vancouver is seeking a Legal Assistant for a one-year contract with a strong chance of permanent hire. Responsibilities include managing calendars, preparing legal documents, and ensuring organized filing. The ideal candidate will have a Legal Assistant Certificate and 2-3 years of litigation experience, along with strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal software. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including flexible working arrangements.
*This is a one-year contract/maternity leave coverage. There is always a strong chance of permanent hire within the firm for any candidate that does a great job on a contract.
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $50,000-$70,000 annually
