W3Global seeks an Associate Lawyer with 2-3 years of litigation experience to join our growing practice in Toronto, Ontario. The candidate will handle personal injury, SABS, and civil matters, drafting pleadings, and engaging in discovery, mediations, and hearings at LAT.

Qualifications

• Ontario law degree and good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• 2-3 years of practical litigation experience with focus on PI, SABS, and civil litigation.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and other documents.
• Familiarity with Rules of Civil Procedure and LAT proceedings.
• Exams for discovery, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Responsabilités

• Manage personal injury, accident benefits, and civil litigation files.
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and court documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Attend discovery, mediations, motions, and hearings.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel.
• Work with clients, experts, and other professionals; assist with trial prep.
