Job summary

Skyservice is seeking a ramp/ground services professional to marshal aircraft, fuel, and provide essential ground support at our fixed-base operations. You will manage luggage handling, vehicle valet, and ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs, outdoor work in varied weather, and a customer-focused approach. Aviation exposure is an asset, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a team player with good communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills; strong customer service focus.
• Aviation experience is an asset; being mechanically inclined is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; outdoor work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely marshal arriving and departing aircraft and provide car valet and luggage handling as needed.
• Operate fuel trucks and complete aircraft fueling orders.
• Load/receive fuel at storage facilities (YYZ only) and conduct fuel quality checks.
• Document fuel quality and equipment inspections; perform aircraft towing as needed.
• Provide ground services (power, lavatory disposal, potable water); ensure readiness of anti-ice equipment in winter.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct; keep facilities and equipment clean.
• Support additional duties as required.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely marshalling in and out arriving and departing aircrafts, taking care to secure the aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary;
• Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders;
• Performing loading and receiving of fuel at storage facility (YYZ only);
• Handle aviation/jet fuel quality checks by conducting various tests and procedures;
• Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms;
• Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps;
• Provide any number of ground services to aircrafts (i.e. connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, potable water etc.);
• Ensure readiness and replenishment of anti-ice equipment during winter snow events;
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers;
• Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment;
• Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High school Diploma or GED required;
• Must have a Class 5 driver’s licensewith ability to obtain DZ license;
• Aviation experience is considered an asset;
• Must be a team player with good communication skills;
• Must have basic computer skills;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
• Ability to work outside in a varietyweather/environmental conditions.
