Job summary

Skyservice Business Aviation, a leading fixed-base operator, is hiring in Dorval, Canada. The position focuses on safe marshalling, fueling, ground services, and maintaining facilities while delivering exceptional client service.

The role requires a HS diploma, a Class 5 license with DZ upgrade ability, basic computer skills, and a team-first attitude. Aviation experience is an asset, and candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Class 5 driver’s license with ability to obtain DZ.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely marshal arriving and departing aircraft and provide car valet service, luggage handling as necessary.
  • Safely operate fuel trucks - fueling and completing aircraft orders.
  • Perform loading and receiving of fuel at storage facility (YYZ only).
  • Handle aviation/jet fuel quality checks by conducting various tests and procedures.
  • Document fuel quality and fueling equipment inspections on applicable forms.
  • Tow aircraft in and out of hangars and on aprons/ramps.
  • Provide any number of ground services to aircrafts (i.e. connecting ground power units, lavatory waste disposal, potable water etc.).
  • Ensure readiness and replenishment of anti-ice equipment during winter snow events.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct with customers and coworkers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
  • Other duties as required.
