Job summary

The Hampton Inn & Suites - Kelowna Airport is seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant who can work well in a team and independently. You will operate laundry machines, sort and fold linen to hotel standards, and keep the area clean and safe. The role includes assisting with linen inventories and supporting other departments as needed.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with opportunities for growth. The hotel is accessible by public transit with a shuttle service for employees and offers extended

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail and neat appearance.
• Self-starter with time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds and operate laundry machines.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neatly groomed appearance with uniform and name tag.
• Operate laundry machines and manage linen supply to standard.
• Transport and distribute laundry to designated locations.
• Report machine defects promptly to management.
• Assist in linen inventories and cross-training with sister properties.
• Provide outstanding guest service and complete brand training.
