Internship Opportunity

Hatch seeks a dynamic Linear Conveyance Engineering Student for Fall 2025. Reporting to the Water group, you will support global offices from our Oakville location.

Candidate Responsibilities
  • Engineering & Project Support: Assist in designing and analyzing civil engineering linear conveyance projects, supporting all project phases.
  • Technical Tasks: Support hydraulic and pipeline design, prepare drawings, specifications, and reports, and perform site assessments.
  • Software Application: Use civil engineering software for modeling, analysis, and documentation.
  • Field Work: Participate in site visits for project monitoring and data collection.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Engage in training and continuous learning.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow safety standards, promote safety culture, and conduct safety audits.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet standards and participate in quality reviews.
Candidate Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Civil Engineering degree at an accredited university
  • Strong CAD skills, experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation
  • Positive attitude, results-oriented, able to work independently
  • Passion for learning, challenges, and the field of study
  • Interest in innovation, sustainability, safety, and quality
  • Excellent communication skills
