Añejo is seeking a Line/Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen in Calgary. You’ll contribute to creating delicious dishes and ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and quality across every plate.

If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about food, we’d love to have you on our team. In this role you’ll prep ingredients, set up stations, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate closely with the kitchen crew to deliver timely, top-quality meals.

• Experience in a kitchen is an asset, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Assist in prepping ingredients and setting up stations, following recipes and kitchen guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with your kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
• Monitor food stock and supplies, assisting with inventory management and minimizing waste.
• Work efficiently to meet kitchen demands, ensuring orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as required.
