Añejo is hiring a Line/Prep Cook to join our modern Mexican kitchen and tequila bar. You will prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and quality in a fast-paced service.

We value organization, attention to detail and teamwork. No prior experience required, we are happy to train the right person, and we offer growth, flexible scheduling, and an energetic team environment that loves hospitality and making unforgettable experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person.
• A passion for cooking and creating consistently great dishes.
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Ability to work well with a team and support others.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment and staying organized under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Assist in prepping ingredients and setting up stations, following recipes and kitchen guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with your kitchen team, communicating effectively to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.
• Monitor food stock and supplies, assisting with inventory management and minimizing waste.
• Work efficiently to meet kitchen demands, ensuring orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance as required.
