Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Line Lead AOS in Toronto to drive an operational excellence program and own a small business unit. You will lead continuous improvement efforts, manage daily production activities, and promote food safety and quality leadership across teams.

The role requires a college diploma or university degree in a relevant field, 2+ years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment, and strong lean/operational excellence background.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of supervisor experience in a unionized environment.
• Minimum of two years of strong experience with operational excellence/lean.
• Green Belt is an asset.
• Computer literacy with MS Office (Word and Excel) and Power BI.
• Knowledge of HACCP and SQF is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, eliminate downtime, and improve equipment reliability.
• Use Lean/Operational Excellence methodologies to identify and eliminate losses and sustain improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Implement and sustain standardized work, 5S, visual management, and autonomous maintenance practices.
• Support capacity growth, process optimization projects, and minor capital investments to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve issues and drive results.
• Lead and develop the Process Lead and Maintenance Lead, guiding frontline employees and coordinating daily production activities.
