Job summary

Jackson-Triggs is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team at the Niagara Falls winery. You will work with a seasoned kitchen staff to prepare and execute daily food service and private events.

The role requires hands-on cooking, proper portioning, maintaining a clean station, and strong teamwork with managers and dining room staff. Physically capable individuals who can stand for long shifts are welcome.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining room staff.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking.
• Open/close duties and maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Follow portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.
• Stock line stations to ensure smooth service and rotate products properly.
• Assist in food prep during off-peak periods and close the kitchen per checklist.
