Job summary

Cineplex is seeking an Hourly Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Mississauga. You will perform daily setup and prep across pantry, fry, and other stations, following recipes and portion control to deliver quality meals.

Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and adherence to health guidelines in a fast-paced, social environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior kitchen experience, with knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling.

• Flexibility to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Daily set-up and preparation of food items in pantry, fry, or other stations.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs.
• Restock items throughout the shift.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen, walk-ins, and storage areas.
• Adhere to all regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials and fire safety.
• Perform additional duties as requested by chef or sous chef.

What you will do:Our Hourly Line Cooks are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Hourly Line Cooks have a range of responsibilities in the kitchen including strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels throughout the day, and preparing meals consistent with company standards.
