Job summary

Tacofino is seeking a BOH Supervisor to join our kitchen team. You will oversee food preparation, guide kitchen staff, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace while maintaining high quality and hospitality for guests.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of culinary experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong background in food preparation within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions and feedback.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety practices.
  • Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to quality and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise food preparation activities including cutting, portioning, frying, and baking, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff, assisting in training and development.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations utilizing Tacofino’s processes and systems, including inventory management , ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Support creating exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food and hospitality.
