Job summary

Viaggio Hospitality Group’s Howe Sound Brewpub is seeking a reliable, passionate Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. You will help set up stations, prepare components, and follow the Head Chef’s instructions to maintain high culinary standards.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in a similar role, a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the same or a similar role.
• Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.
• Honest, trustworthy and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
• Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.
• Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

serves award-winning ales and fresh from the brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood.

We are currently seeking a reliable, passionate Line Cooks to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service.
