Job description

SERVED Catering is a leader in the catering industry, offering both upscale and casual cuisine for weddings, corporate, private, and special events. We cater to events of all sizes, from large-scale to intimate gatherings, including private in-home dining on the North Shore and throughout Greater Vancouver. Our boutique catering company is comprised of a close-knit team of talented culinary chefs with worldwide experience and training. At the helm are Trevor and Michelle Gostlin, a world-renowned chef and hospitality experts.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Line Chef, Pantry Chef, or Event Chef at SERVED Catering & Events. The role is on-site in Vancouver, BC. The chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, managing pantry inventory, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. The chef will collaborate with the team for event planning, execution, menu development, and presentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of pantry management and inventory control
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Creativity in menu development and presentation
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in event catering is a plus
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is beneficial
