Job summary

Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) invites applications for a Systems Engineer to join the Lighting Systems Engineering team at our Middleton, WI headquarters. You will contribute to development tasks, test procedures, and engineering support across projects, working with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Technical Bachelor’s Degree and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with opportunities to grow in a 100% employee-owned company that

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to solve problems and perform root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, standards and codes.
• Familiar with network topology and basic CAD tools.
• Ability to follow project plans and contribute to design/modifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned project tasks under supervision of senior engineers.
• Contribute to development efforts and testing procedures.
• Modify or improve designs under supervision.
• Develop test and verification procedures.
• Provide engineering support to Project Management, Tech Services and Manufacturing.
• Training internal personnel on proper use of ETC products.
• Travel to job sites as required.
