Job description

We are seeking a Lighting Assembler to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 40 HOURS ON SIN LONG-TERM (at least 1 year)

Shift: 8:00AM-4:30PM – Monday to Friday

Major Intersection:
Queensway E and Cawthra – transit accessible

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow production drawings (DWG), wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs to ensure accurate assembly.
Align and secure parts using jigs, fixtures, and positioning tools as required.
Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment to assemble, fasten, or solder components.
Install components such as PCBs, power outlets, capacitors, switches, lenses, reflectors, and other hardware onto lighting units.
Route and connect internal wiring following diagrams, using proper crimping and soldering techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and consistency while meeting quality standards.
Safely lift and handle assemblies or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
